Another quirky hotel is the Propeller Island City Lodge:
It has 45 rooms, all by different artists.

A room with a slanted floor which makes grandma’s bed seem to fly. The wardrobe comes out of the wall, but the table has got to stay put! In the rustic bathroom of natural stone you will find eggplant-colored slate.
Because jack of all trades designer Philippe Starck has designed the interiors of a few hotels already, it is not strange that he announces a partnership to create 35 hotels under his own label, Starck International Hotels and Resorts.
Another wel designed small all suite hotel has been opened recently: Brugsche Suites, Suites of Brugge, Belgium
Analik has her own fashion label and a shop in Amsterdam (9 streets shopping area).
Now she has purchased a property in Antwerpen where she will start a new shop and a hotel. In autumn she will open a hotel next to her Amsterdam shop. More to follow under the name: Miauw Suites.

Hotel Arena in Amsterdam has reopened after a renovation. It changed from a Stay Okay into a designhotel. It added 6 designer suites and modern design furniture from Dutch designers as Piet Hein Eek, Marcel Wanders, Ineke Hans and Marleen Kaptein.
