Pim en Jane Keizer bought the old cityhall in Stavoren, a small historic city in the province of Friesland, The Netherlands. It serves already as a wedding location and they are creating a wonderful honeymoonsuite in it.
Its website is under construction, but promises something beautiful.
Analik has her own fashion label and a shop in Amsterdam (9 streets shopping area).
Now she has purchased a property in Antwerpen where she will start a new shop and a hotel. In autumn she will open a hotel next to her Amsterdam shop. More to follow under the name: Miauw Suites.
Other fashion makers preceded her:
- Carla Sozzani with 3Rooms 10, Corso Como, above her boutique (a Real Boutique Hotel?) in Milano, Italy.
- Roger Saul, founder of Mulberry, with Charlton House in Bath, Summerset, UK.
- Bvlgari with Bvlgari Hotel in Milano, Italy.
- Donatella Versace with Pallazzo Versace south of Brisbane, Australia, which opened recently.
Recently we stayed in this new exclusive private guesthouse.
Emanuel Vanhaecke, a brother of the hostess of the Small Luxury Pandhotel in Bruge is the host of Maison le Dragon. It has three suites and, with a garden in between, it is located back to back with the Pandhotel on short walkting distance of The Markt (market), the centre of this well kept medieval city with a nice array of shops and cultural sightseeing opportunities. One of the suites has its own terrace with Bear Chairs and all three suites are roomy and very well appointed by by Emanuel’s mother. Each suite has a bath and seperate shower stall.
Starting a new venture like this makes you forget some things easily. When a famous Dutch football (soccer for the Americans amongst you) player stayed with him, Emanuel realised he had forgotten a proper guestbook. He run away to fetch a guestbook. Now the photo of this famous guest together with a nice review are on the first page of his guestbook.
Sleeping in a bank building is possible since Banks Mansion opened its doors: With 51 rooms maybe just a weekend hotel.
The nice new 9 suites Bliss Hotel in Breda was featured on Dutch television. Unfortunately the video itself disappeared since I posted this.
